Drive In & Drive Thru Racking (DIDTR)

Description

Drive In and Drive thru racking system terms are often used interchangeable . Drive In racking requires lift operators to drive into the racking system from one side and remove pallets from the same entry point or from back side if there is provision on rear side. As stated, some Drive In pallet rack systems have a closure at the opposite end. Product is rotated in a Last-In, First-Out inventory manner because of the single entry & exit point and even FIFO can be followed if there is opening at rear end.

The  benefit of Drive In and Drive thru racking is its extremely efficient storage capacity utilizing most of volumetric space in the warehouse. Pallets are stored back to back without aisles for exceptionally dense storage.

This system is suitable for any type of industry.
